Even thought I am situated in Bulgaria, I have decided to participate in the Patient Safety Week and raise awareness in my country. My plans are to publish and share articles and interviews with various professionals from USA and Bulgaria, who work in the fields of patient safety. I will discuss the need to shift from blame-oriented culture to system approach; the need for conflict management in healthcare settings and improvement of patient-physician communication.
