"Spread" the word about patient safety at Bassett Medical Center (PB&J Day!)

Although we are celebrating all week long here at Bassett Medical Center (Cooperstown, NY), today is especially fun! It is PB&J Day (Purple and Blue Jeans)! Staff get to wear blue jeans and something purple (the color of patient safety). We also hosted our first annual Smucker's PB&J cooking contest! Entries included such delicacies as PB&J tiramisu, Elvis PB&J cheesecake, PB&J bars with a pretzel crust, PB&J chicken, and even PB& J popcorn! Smucker's corporate reps were onsite to provide yummy giveaways and join in the fun. What wonderful and sweet way to celebrate this very important week!
