Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City has made patient safety the priority every day! To celebrate Patient Safety Awareness Week our co-workers will be encouraged to renew their pledge to patient safety by signing a banner located in our cafeteria. Quality and Patient Safety Representatives will be in our hospital’s cafeteria throughout the week discussing safety initiatives with co-workers. NPSF PSAW materials are on display throughout our facility. Quality and Patient Safety Representatives will rove throughout the hospital all week thanking co-workers for their contribution to our safety culture and distributing a small token of appreciation. Co-workers are invited to listen to NPSF’s The Voice of the Patient and the Public webinar on Wednesday, March 15th. Department huddles house-wide will focus on the United in Patient Safety campaign. Staff will discuss strategies to keep patients free from harm and share their ideas for how we as a healthcare ministry can strengthen our safety culture.
