AHIH has successfully started observing Patient Safety Awareness Week from 12th March 2017. All staff are enthusiastically participating in different activities of patient safety campaign. Activities: 1. Introduction to Patient Safety Awareness Week was given to all staff. 2. Staff took the Pledge for Patient Safety. 3. Displayed patient safety posters & paper tents at Front Office Counters, Nursing Stations & Consultation Rooms. 4. Distributed patient safety badges to all staff. 5. Distributed patient safety pamphlets to all nursing stations & consultation rooms. 6. Started Patient Safety Education Counter at waiting areas. 7. Patients are being educated about patient safety issues through verbal information, pamphlet distribution and displaying patient safety videos on TV's at waiting areas. 8. Presentations, Quiz & skit performances given by staff on Patient Safety Goals. - Dr Vijay Desai, Quality Head
